I love that it’s a little cooler without being cold like winter, the beautiful colors, the long nights spent sipping a cup of cocoa, and of course, the flavors of the season!

Most people go for pumpkin spice, but I’m  cinnamon apple girl. There’s just something about juicy apples with  sweet, tart flavor paired with spicy, earthy spice of cinnamon that brings back memories of last fall.

I’m always on the lookout for new cinnamon apple recipes, & believe me, this recipe does not disappoint. With layers of tart apples, sweet caramel, & buttery cinnamon rolls, what’s not to love? Keep reading to see how easy it is to make Apple Cinnamon Lasagna!

*Ingredients:

°2 packages chilled cinnamon rolls (save bags of frosting for later use)

°4 large apples, peeled and diced (Granny Smith or Golden Delicious)

°1/2 cup sugar

°2 teaspoons of cinnamon

°1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

°1 tablespoon cornstarch

°1/3 cup caramel sauce

*Methods :

Preheat oven to 375 F & spray a 9″ x 13″ baking dish with nonstick spray.

Combine the apple cubes, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl, making sure to coat them evenly.

Cut the cinnamon rolls to 1/4-inch-thick slices. Sprinkling every piece with flour, then with a roll pin, roll every piece on a floured surface until thin.

Arrange first layer of flattened cinnamon roll on the bottom & sides of dish. Squeeze them with your hands to seal them well.

Spreading half of the apple filling on top & drizzle with 2-3 tsp of caramel sauce.

Covering with aluminum foil & bake for 30 minutes. Then removing foil & baking for another 10-15 mn to top is golden brown.

Letting cool for at least 30 mn, then drizzle with the frosting that came with cinnamon rolls.

Enjoy !
